IF tourism is going to be our main economy, then we better listen to them. IF you poll every tourists coming into our shores, I believe the MAJORITY will want Samoa as is . They prefer the culture and the natural look of Samoa .They prefer smaller resorts that are local owners, and located closer to villages.
They do not want to see the same old thing they are running away from. Besides that. Why is the government getting into resort business? Why are they competing with the private business? IF they start loosing money, which they will . How are they going to fund it unless they borrow. IF they borrow like they are right now , guess who is stuck with the bill. The saying goes. EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD!!! God Bless Samoa
